With a short or long term goal in mind, the time needed to build a certain size box should be reduced by about 80%.
The woodworking equipment is the basic ingredient in the time required to learn a craft. When you compare a $200 router, $500 lathe and $500 wood plane, you would see a difference of $10,000 in woodworking equipment cost.
