A: I like to keep to the rules of what I want to make since I have limited resources, so that’s a no, I wouldn’t do that. I love art. All kinds of art, I love sculpture, I love painting. That’s what I like to do most now.

Q: You recently worked with a few studios here in Canada and one back in New York City for the creation of another exhibit. What about this experience will remain with you?

A: The most important thing to me is for other artists and artists’ studios to want me to show my art again. I really like the idea because it’s what keeps me going to do this. It’s something I’m really working on right now and it’s going to keep me motivated.

The annual ceremony took place during the annual National Awards Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
