Swing trade is an extremely volatile asset. A typical stock or commodity can go from a low to a high in a matter of seconds.
In order to be a value-oriented player, you must analyze your position prior to the start of the action and get your trade plan in place. You can do this with our live chat software on the site.
What are some important indicators for stock/monetary markets that could hurt your position?
This includes the following:
A drop in the value of the main market index
A rally on the main index that is very close to an all time high (a rally which is not an extreme high or a high) or a lower low
The price action of a low-priced stock or a stock that is getting close to, or has moved above, the major exchange price of that stock (where trading is suspended)
Also, a rally on an exchange that is near or below its all time high, or below its all time low. The rallies on exchange will either move in your direction or will cause your position to collapse.
In other words, a low-priced stock that is trading near its all time high and is a major target for a rally could cause your position to collapse. Also, a sell on an exchange that is near, or is near, its all time low will be a blow to your position.
