There are a couple of ways to perform swinging trade. One is selling a specific stock at the current price and buying a different stock at a higher price. A lot of people don’t know about this, but that’s called a call on the call and buying at the current price. And that is the same as moving up or down the charts and reading it as a move. That’s what the trade was, where they had to sell some stock at the current price and buy some stock at a higher price. So that’s how they were able to move up a significant amount of money.
It was just a matter of finding the right trading moment and not losing money.
Now, if you’re trying to do things in a smarter way… you should have done it already, right?… So they were able to actually put the order in place and they were successful at moving up and down the charts very substantially. If you compare the two screens, if you look at the two screens below, you can see how much money they gained on this trade.
You can actually compare how much they gained up and down over the last month. What’s interesting, is that at the end of August they were making about 200,000 on this trade while they were losing about 100,000. That’s pretty impressive for a move that little bit in money during the month. So yeah, it was kind of a brilliant move.
