What are the best stocks to swing trade? – Swing Trading Strategies.Com

The best stocks to swing trade consist of a mix of dividend income, market value growth and price appreciation in that order. This would be a list of the best funds to look for, but I’m going to pick four more to highlight in particular.

1. Vanguard Dividend Income ETF (VADO)

This is an ETF that’s similar to Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund (TVS) but has different holdings. For this reason I think it’s a much more appropriate index to swing and the dividend yield (discussed in my earlier posts) is one of the best ones out there.

Check your holdings carefully, however, as it’s the dividend yield that makes it so well-suited for buying into a market when the share price is up but at the same time gives you a solid position to pick up some dividend growth when the share price is down.

3. TD Ameritrade Dividend Index ETF (TDAMT)

I love ETFs and am really excited about the news about the ETF. Like the TD Ameritrade Total Stock Market Index Fund, this fund has shares in four U.S. companies, one of which is the largest U.S. conglomerate in the $2.2 trillion U.S. stock market by market values. What makes the investment particularly strong is that it also has two foreign holdings, a Canadian fund (NYSE: CSE) and another in Singapore (NYSE: SING).

These foreign holdings are used to offset the large proportion of stocks traded in the U.S. stock market, meaning the funds are more diversified in terms of how they are spread across the world.

The best diversification possible for this fund comes from the dividend yield, which helps account for some of the diversifying power of the shares in the global index. I’ve also included it for information purposes, but this is a great investment option for people who value investing in diversified funds over the equity market.

4. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VOO)

Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund (VTI) is an index fund that consists of shares in five U.S. companies, with two of the stocks trading over $2 trillion. It features the “Swap” component to allow you to move
