1 hour of coaching @ $150 a hour Are there other things you think are necessary to be an effective coach? Absolutely. However, the biggest thing is having an idea of what an idea or idea of a coach is. When someone else is telling you what to do, they are not really teaching you about yourself. They are just telling you what to do so you can do it better. I am not saying don’t go for the coach, but it is a better process to spend time learning from them before you send your ideas out to other clients or customers. How did you go about creating a plan to implement the life coaching services you sell? How about how you go about getting people to follow you? First, I thought about what was involved in going after the clients. Then I thought about what was involved in following me. So I thought about the other person (me, in this case) and came up with a plan that would be more effective before my next client. I decided that I needed to have a vision of myself and my personal values in order to be successful as a coach. A vision is your mental model of yourself, in which you take pride in your personality. So I said, “Let’s take a picture of myself and see who I am as I relate to people.” And I did. I found out a little bit of myself. I found out who I really am. What I learned is, once I see who I am, and what I believe in, then I can work from there and make decisions. As a coach, I try to take a few months to do my research so that there will be time for you to ask questions about why you are going to want to follow me. Once you determine how you want to go about your own life, then you want to go about it the same way I did. You want to be a better version of yourself. What else would you like to share?
