Why is violin the hardest instrument? – How To Learn Violin Quickly

There are three reasons why violinist think is the hardest musical instruments. There is the way the string is shaped, string gauge, its length and the strength of the neck. There are also some advantages: the sound is more musical, the movement is easier to control and the sound is more powerful.

String Shape

Viola is made of bamboo, the same material as cow’s hide. If you don’t know what the shape of the strings are make sure to check it with a violin maker. Vibra is the most commonly used wood. The size is about 11cm (4″) long. Violins is a round instrument.

Viola String Gauge

Viola is made of bamboo in the same way as bamboo used in paper. The gauge is approximately 1/8 to 1/2 of the violin length. There is a difference. You can find one gauge of bamboo that is slightly smaller than the other. For example, one gauge would be about 45 centimeters (18 inches) shorter than the other. This is one of the biggest differences because of the difference of material. If the bamboo gauge was less than 1/4 of the violin length it would not be very important.

Viola strings of this type cannot stretch a lot, so are much easier to control and are strong. There is less variation in the string gauge. This makes the vibrato more easily controlled and also helps to play the way you want.

Viola is made of thick strings which allows the strings to be more flexible. This allows the instrument to move in your hands while playing.

Length

Viola are a long instrument. The length is about 11 cm (4″) with the string being approximately 14 cm (5″) from the fret. Therefore, to play long violas you will need a larger violin. This size is called “long-arm-violin”. A small violin is just the right length when the violin is held in a proper position and playing.

The long-arm-violin comes in black, silver and red colours. Red violin has a red string, black does not but does have two black strings.

Viola strings are about 14 cm (5″) in length. This means if you have a violin that is 30 cm (12″) or greater and you play a long-arm-violin you will feel the strength of it. The strength is in its sound. The strength of violin in your hands
