We don’t know, but this is a very fun experiment of how much effort is required to perform an instrument that was originally constructed solely for one purpose.
“I would argue that the violin is the worst player in the world,” said violinist Andrew Hesselbecker. “For a lot of people, that might sound like you could play with an acoustic guitar. But in the beginning it wasn’t really until a lot of practice started that the strings started to break and the whole thing went from being fun to a pain. Now it’s a lot of fun.”

The first season of Syfy’s breakout horror drama series The Expanse has been one of the best and most satisfying TV debuts of this year. After a slow start, the show has taken the genre by storm and is quickly climbing the Nielsen Ratings. The show is being followed by a sequel this fall (in addition to the three that have been announced thus far). As far as Syfy programming goes, the network knows how to get its shows on the air. But it seems that this might be a case of too much too soon. With just ten episodes to go before the season four premiere, Syfy may have hit the skids and will face a tough challenge in bringing the series the needed viewer numbers.
According to recent press articles and industry reports, Season 1 of The Expanse was drawing well over 15,000 viewers per episode when it first aired. It was even a little ahead of its competitors in the Friday 10 PM timeslot. In addition, Syfy’s social media marketing efforts were working. The show was even being mentioned in the NY Times and the Washington Post! The show even has support from other series such as The 100 and Legion! With such an impressive first season, why in the world is Syfy only bringing it to an end now?
