It’s hard but you can. It doesn’t take very long to learn to sing and as long as you don’t try too hard, you can go on for a good 20 years singing.
You’ve sung with many singers over the years. What are your best tips and tricks?
First of all, always play it loud and have fun. As a singer you would do that to a lot of people and not only me but I hope I can go and sing to the whole world as I do here so as soon as I go to the big concert in Paris I won’t be singing as loud as I used too. A lot like when I first started, I was too loud and everybody hated me. I really wish I can go back and get them to like singing again.
What do you think of other singers’ singing and music?
The singers who sing in this band are so amazing I know that the people who sing in the band are the most talented people in the world right now. I hope as they have so many amazing things on their minds.
Do you have a favorite artist that you are listening to?
I love that when I listen to some of these electronic productions I listen to a little bit different things. It seems a lot different.
What’s next?
Tomorrow we go to Paris and have many rehearsals because it’s such a big concert. It really gives me a thrill in the beginning because there’s so much energy that we can bring in. And as we get older, I’ve always liked to go to a really large concert, especially an old concert so I can understand what everyone has to say. I think it is nice to get older when there is a chance for all to sing in the same place at the same time. And of course that is really the hardest part of playing all of the instruments, to sing all the notes of an orchestra and do it at the same time. It really makes you think a lot as you can hear everyone else sing so clearly. So I hope that tomorrow we get there and really do a lot of singing.
