How does my employer know I’m eligible for a free boiler replacement?
When you install a boiler or combination boiler on your property, you may be eligible for a free boiler replacement if your employer has the following requirements:
a boiler owner license issued by a State or territory jurisdiction
you are paid an hourly wage or remuneration that is calculated to be at least $30 / hour on a yearly basis
you maintain your facility within the requirements laid down by the State or territory municipality
your boiler uses a non-furnace boiler
There is no cost to your employer if replacement of your boiler happens at your home or business.
Should I have a boiler safety plan?
If you haven’t got a boiler safety plan you can get one free of charge. You should use this checklist to make sure your boiler safety includes:
getting a boiler safety plan at the end of the first year of operation
getting approval to have the boiler inspected or inspected and then inspected again
having a safety plan for the boiler installed at your residence or business
