If you make gifts from a charitable foundation the gift is also excluded from the tax.

What is the maximum amount of capital gains?
The maximum amount you can take as a capital gain is $2.5 million for individuals and $4.1 million for corporations.
Capital gains can also be made for ancillary gain(s) such as investment income, depreciation, and amortization.
